Domonic R. Silva is a life-long New Mexican born in Albuquerque. His father served in
the New Mexico Legislature since 1987 as a State Representative from
Albuquerque’s Westside. Domonic moved to Las Cruces in 1994
to attend New Mexico State University. In 1998 he began lobbying for the New
Mexico Retail Association under the direction of longtime lobbyist Bob Gold.
Since then he has grown his lobbying business to include; retail, building
industries, banking, healthcare, municipalities, gas distribution and gaming.
Domonic has worked on numerous types of legislation including many business
issues, education, telecommunications, transportation, electric utilities,
workers compensation, taxes, consumer privacy, youth employment funding,
pharmacy and water issues. Domonic resides in Las Cruces with his two daughters
Macy and Mia.
